Attorney Paul W. Calhoun, III

Paul W. Calhoun, III, native of Vidalia, who founded the Calhoun Law Firm in March 2017 alongside his father, Paul W. Calhoun, Jr. and his brother, Chris Calhoun. Prior to joining the firm, Paul worked as a Judicial Clerk for Judge William A. Shashy, Circuit Judge, Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, in Montgomery, Alabama. He also practiced law with several firms around this area before founding the firm with his family.

Paul is an Alumni of Georgia Southern University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Finance. He obtained his J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, located in Montgomery, Alabama. While at Jones, he was active in the Student Bar Association as well as a member of Phi Alpha Delta – Albert Patterson Chapter.

Paul is a member of the Georgia State Bar, (GTLA) Georgia Trial Lawyer Association, Dublin Judicial Bar Association, Board Member of General Practice & Jury Trial Section of State Bar.

Paul is admitted to practice in Superior Court, Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court of Georgia, Southern District of Georgia, Middle District Court of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

His primary practice focuses are real estate, consumer bankruptcy, personal injury, family law, probate, DUI, criminal defense, and general litigation.
